What were you doing before pursuing RMT?
I studied Biology at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, and competed as a U Sports athlete. My background is in strength-based sports, and I’m currently an Olympic weightlifter at the national level. Ranked top 5 within my weight class in the country. I’m currently ranked 16th among all male lifters in Canada.
Why do you want to be an RMT?
I actually injured myself just before my first Weightlifting Nationals, and my coach’s wife—who’s a VCMT alum—helped me recover enough to place 9th. Her care and expertise inspired me to follow in her footsteps and led me to a career connected to the sport I love, and to athletes who need the same kind of support I received.
I want to help others chase their goals by supporting their recovery and educating them on how to live with less pain. I believe setbacks and injuries are opportunities to grow stronger. With the right support and mindset, you’ll never fail. Always aim for the stars—if you fall short, you’ll land on the moon.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?
If I have any time outside of studying and training, I enjoy learning about things that interest me. Right now, I’m exploring cooking, finance, and languages—specifically Ukrainian and a little Korean. When I want to relax, I enjoy watching movies or anime, and spending time with friends and family.

After having my first massage by an RMT, I immediately started the process of becoming an RMT. Being an RMT speaks to me on more levels than I ever could have imagined a career could have. I’ve always found a lot of gratification in helping people when they’re stuck. I want to have an impact on how people go through life. Once I graduate from VCMT, my skill set as an RMT will be the mechanism through which I make that change on people’s day to day lives.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?
I like wood working quite a lot, as of now, April 2025, I’m making a cabinet. I’m moving to Port Coquitlam where I won’t have access to my tools anymore however.
I spend a lot of time in the gym. Not necessarily just working out though, I find myself talking to other gym goers quite a lot. I think the gym’s a good social experience on top of being a fun way to kill an hour or two.
I look forward to enjoying the city while I’m in school. Coming from Chilliwack, Vancouver has been a really fun experience for me so far.
